About Sleapy Cat Rescue

Myself and a brilliant band of volunteers have worked in cat rescue for many years, we are completely self funding doing monthly stalls in the square at Shrewsbury and attending fete’s and shows, every penny we make goes to the cats/kittens and the upkeep of the pens. We are a non profit organisation.

We hope to be able to help the older cat that perhaps is overlooked sometimes by other rescues.  This however does not exclude the younger cats and kittens, we aim to help where and when we can.  We will always return calls within a 24hr period and will try our best to advise whenever possible. We have a minimum donation of £75 as of the 1st June 2020 per cat/kitten more if a pedigree, this does not cover our costs but helps towards it, all cats/kittens are vet health checked, wormed, de-flead, minimum of 1st vaccination, neutered and microchipped, plus any other treatment they may need, in the case of a kitten we neuter at 20wks and give a voucher for free Neuter and Chip but must come back to our vets Bridgefield Veterinary Surgery Wem. Time and love are free but everything else costs money.

 

We will accommodate our cats in a heated purpose built cattery.  They will be health checked, treated for parasites, vaccinated (minimum of 1st vaccine) wormed, neutered and microchipped.  All prospective homes will be pre checked.  Our hopes are that each unwanted cat we can take in can find through us a happy caring and stress free home for life.
