Latest update on Dave

Dave’s breathing has been very noisy of late, this happened about a year ago but x rays showed nothing abnormal.  I took him back to the vets as he sounded like he was struggling to breath, poor lad, they now think he is suffering with Asthma and allergy related (like hayfever to us) he had a steriod jab that should of lasted 24hrs but unfortunately it didn’t and during the night the stress of him not being able to breath made him have a fit, I took him back to the vets the next day and they gave him a longer lasting steriod jab which seems to have done the trick, looks like in the summer months Dave will need steriod injections to keep his hayfever at bay.  He is due his yearly booster vaccination very soon and we will also have a blood test done to make sure he is still on the right dosage for his epilepsy medication. He is such a lovely boy, watch this space!!
