2017 was a strange year for Sleapy Cat Rescue, there was a period in time that we were more like a hospital than a rescue/re-homing centre as everyone we had in was either on prescription diets or medication because unwell, this did effect our homing figures but we still managed to re-home 59 Cats and 59 Kittens. Lets hope 2018 is a little kinder 🙂  We managed to re-unite 9 owners with there pets due to microchips which was great 🙂

Update on Dave 21/2/14

Dave has yet again had to give up his pen to an emergency intake of 9 cats from Telford, the council told the owner she must re-home 9 of her 12 cats, we took in 8 as she managed to re-home one but one was heavily pregnant and gave birth on 5th Feb, Dave moved out of his pen on 25th Jan 2014 and as no interest in the 5 we have left in there he is still in a normal rescue pen, he was a bit disgruntled to begin with but has settled well and think he likes the company of the other cats either side of him, hopefully it won’t be long before he can go back into his pen, as a treat for him giving up his pen to help his fellow felines we have a nice new lrg scratch post for him when he goes back, he is such a good lad and we all love him 🙂
