Sleap, Wem …Proprietor Eve Dodds – 07743 644795

2017 was a strange year for Sleapy Cat Rescue, there was a period in time that we were more like a hospital than a rescue/re-homing centre as everyone we had in was either on prescription diets or medication because unwell, this did effect our homing figures but we still managed to re-home 59 Cats and 59 Kittens. Lets hope 2018 is a little kinder 🙂  We managed to re-unite 9 owners with there pets due to microchips which was great 🙂

Pumkin in on 5/11/13

Meet Pumkin as we have called her, she has come in as a stray/abandoned and by looking at her she has been living rough for some time, she really is a sweet natured girl and loves attention, fuss and her heated igloo bed as well as her food.

Our vet Olivia Halligan assisted by our vet nurse Louise Garmston gives Pumkin the once over, age wise she is in double figures and has not got many teeth left but they have been removed by a vet, she has a very strange abdomen that feels like dough, we have had two urine sample’s done and the 2nd has shown blood in it, she will go for an ultra sound scan on Wednesday 13th November……..lets hope it’s not anything sinister………watch this space
