In this section we have some of our residents stories that are still ongoing as in treatments, we desperately need donations to help with these and all our activities to do with re-homing cats.
These two gorgeous kittens were found dumped in a cardboard box in Shrewsbury, they were only two weeks old! I have been bottle feeding them every 3hrs, the pictures below were taken today (now 4wks old approx) they are coming along in leaps and bounds and will be moved to a pen at the weekend, we call them “Blacknose” & “Whitenose” sister and brother and a good little pair, they will go for adoption when they are 9wks old, I would like them to go together as they have not had a good start in life and stick together like Velcro!!
They like to play with each other now and we can see they are going to be a right pair of monkey’s!!
Update on Winnie Dec 2011
Wow this girl looks good, Winnie has been back to Jenny’s for another holiday, she always settles right back in. She is enjoying life in her new home and loves the log burner this time of year, her owners sent us a typical picture of Winnie being spoilt and rightly so after what she had been through
Aww bless her, what a sweetie!!
Remember our Winnie, update 26/3/11
Winnie was in such a state when she came into our rescue we had to have her completely shaved and you could see every bone in her body, just look at her tail it looks like a rats! She made good progress and put on weight and her coat started slowly growing back. She then found a lovely new home with loving parents who even lit there log burner for her home coming, she is back at Jennys while her owner’s are on holiday and looking great just look at her tail now and she has excellent body weight too
She’s looking good
Just look at that tail now WOW!!!
What a beautifull girl she is now
Latest update on Dave 19/2/11
Dave’s fits unfortunately have been increasing, he went back to the vets yesterday for a thorough examination, they tested his urine which still has blood and crystals in it and took bloods for testing (which is why his neck is shaved) he has put on a quite a bit of weight since coming into us he now weighs 3.97kg when he came in he weighed 2.2kg, the vet has decided to up his doseage on his medication to double what it was before but still giving twice daily. We hope now that this will keep Dave’s fits at bay. Dave has been with us now just over a year and has adapted to pen life extremely well but then Dave is so laid back I dont think anything would bother him, he still loves his new “Gaff” and sitting on top of his scratching post is his favorite place. If you would like to donate or sponsor Dave for help towards his medication and vets fee’s please get in touch with Eve 07743 644795 or use the contact us page
As you can see Dave is quite happy and contented and has many luxury’s in his pen. He still adores a fuss and having his tummy rubbed, he really is a very special boy!!
Dave chilling in his new “Gaff” he loves it!
Our Lovely Winnie has been adopted 28/11/10
Dave has moved into his new “Gaff” today
